Arabinogalactan powder
Purified arabinogalactan from larch wood. A polysaccharide of repeating arabinose and galactose, plus glucose and mannose. A dietary fiber that human colonic bacteria ferment, supporting beneficial bacteria including bifidobacteria and L. plantarum.*
The structures here are different from the aloe mannans on purpose. Arabinogalactan was chosen because it supports immune function and probiotic bacteria — a second plant, a second job.*

Gum tragacanth
A prebiotic fiber from the dried sap of the plant. It contributes glyconutrients — galactose, arabinose, xylose, fucose, rhamnose, and galacturonic acid — and helps support the immune system and cell-to-cell communication.*

What is Ambrotose, in one sentence?

What are glycans?
Glycans are beneficial plant saccharides found in nature. Saccharide is the formal name for sugar. The majority of plant saccharides are not sweet, and they do not raise your blood sugar the way table sugar does. Table sugar is a disaccharide; Mannatech does not use it in Ambrotose powder. The saccharides here are specific plant-sourced structures selected for immune system optimization and cellular communication.*
Why four plants instead of one?
No single plant supplies the full range of glycan structures in this formula. Aloe contributes mannose-rich mannans; larch contributes arabinogalactan; tragacanth contributes fucose among other glyconutrients; glucosamine is an amino-sugar precursor. The overlap is intentional — complementary structures, not duplicates of the same thing.
How is this different from taking Manapol on its own?
Manapol powder gives you the standardized aloe vera extract directly. The Ambrotose family builds on that same Manapol foundation with a multi-source saccharide base designed to provide a broader spectrum of saccharides used in immune system function and cellular communication.* Many people take both.
Is Ambrotose LIFE a replacement, or an upgrade?

How do I take Complex powder?
One rounded 2 g scoop twice daily, mixed with 8 fl oz of water or juice. The 100 g canister is 50 servings at that dose. Memory, mood, and well-being claims in the research are based on 4 g daily.¥
What is acemannan, and what is a Dalton?
Acemannan is an acetylated mannan from the inner leaf gel of aloe vera — the functional glycan many people mean when they talk about aloe. A Dalton is a unit of molecular weight. CAS and USAN define acemannan at 1–2 million Daltons. Manapol powder is built to that published line.†
Is it vegan, gluten-free, and kosher?
